A Message from our Founder and Owner
“I founded Jigsaw Travel back in 1998 when the Internet was in its infancy.
Following 8 years with British Airways, I noticed a gap in the market for a smaller, more personalised corporate travel service than that being offered from the larger players in the travel industry.
The name Jigsaw Travel was derived from the concept that travel was changing and my new company could ‘piece together’ all the different elements of a successful business trip (flights, hotels, car hire, etc.) and offer an alternative to call centre culture.
The success of the business has grown steadily and organically over the years and we are proud to look after the travel needs of some of the most successful businesses in the UK.
We have faced a few challenges along the way from air-strikes to ash clouds to global pandemics. However smooth seas never made good sailors and we pivoted the business successfully by adapting to our clients every need.
We are still very much a small business with a team of 8 staff, we have the work hard/play hard approach and our passion for travel shows through every day. I am still ‘hands on’ in the day to day running of the business and 25 years on, I still love what I do.”
